It's hard to believe we're leaving Fernandina this morning. We've been here since Saturday and have really enjoyed our stay. This is a picture of the marina and the downtown area taken from our boat in the mooring field.We normally leave an anchorage by 7:00 am but we need to plan our arrival in Jekyll Sound around a rising tide, so we will be leaving here about 10:30 am. We will be heading north up Jekyll Creek with a final destination of Brunswick, GA. We plan on staying in Brunswick for several weeks before continuing further north.
Apparently there will be just one more shuttle launch after the one on Friday... can't imagine you guys missing that!! If you come back toward us for the last one, let us know for sure..,and have a continuing wonderful trip up north...Hugs!
